Dr. McCabe is a graduate of the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his anesthesia residency at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. and completed a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, N.Y. He served as an attending anesthesiologist at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, NY and Central General Hospital in Plainview, NY before joining the staff at New York Hospital Queens. At NYHQ, Dr. McCabe served as Director of PACU and was a member of the cardiac anesthesia team for several years. In 2004 he was appointed Co-Director of Ambulatory Anesthesia. He joined General Anesthesia Services LLP in 2005. Dr. McCabe is currently a member of the NYSSA and the ASA.

Adam Sherwood, MD
Dr. Sherwood is a graduate of NYU Medical Center in New York City. Subsequently, he did his internship in Internal Medicine at LIJ Medical center in New Hyde Park, NY. He then completed his residency training program in Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate and Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY with extensive training in trauma and critical care and pediatrics. Dr. Sherwood joined General Anesthesia Services, LLP in 2013. He is the Director of Pediatrics.
Dr. Sherwood is a current member of the AMA, NYSSA and the ASA.
Scott Kane, DO
Dr. Kane completed his medical education at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990. He continued his training as an intern at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. In 1994, he completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at New York University Hospital and its affiliates, Bellevue Hospital and the Manhattan VA. Dr. Kane received his Board Certification in Anesthesiology in 1995. Upon graduation from his residency in 1994 through the summer of 2014, Dr. Kane was an Attending Anesthesiologist and Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at Beth Israel Hospital Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Kane joined General Anesthesia Services in the fall of 2014. He is a current member of the NYSSA and ASA.
